Human Cell Line Authentication - STR DNA Test

Multiplex STR technology provides high resolution typing with 9 to 15 genetic loci and 1 sex determination marker. Additional loci can be tested. Genetica DNA Laboratories, Inc. is currently using the following STR multiplex kits:

PowerPlex® 16 HS (Promega Corporation) - 16 independent genetic sites specific for human DNA that include the 13 CODIS loci, plus  PENTA E, PENTA D and amelogenin

StemElite™ ID (Promega Corporation) – 9 independent genetic sites specific for human DNA including amelogenin plus one mouse marker.

Additional loci can be tested with other multiplex kits from Promega.

You receive a CELL LINE AUTHENTICATION REPORT containing:

1. STR DNA profile report of tested cell line.
2. Included with the report are allele designations and the raw data of the alleles with their graphic profiles depicting allele peak heights and areas.
3. or/and

2. Comparative STR DNA profile report of tested cell line versus STR DNA profile of specified reference sample.
3. Included with the report are allele designations and the raw data of the alleles with their graphic profiles depicting allele peak heights and areas AND comparative analysis between your tested sample with a specified reference sample. ADDITIONALLY, the report provides a percent identity calculation and percent match calculation between the submitted cell line and a specified reference cell line.
4. This comparative report is ready for submission to grant funding bodies and journals that require proof of cell line authentication.
